Warriors: Power of Three #4: Eclipse by Erin Hunter

Summary
Life in the clans is normal. For now. When a stranger named Sol arrives to the ThunderClan territory they are nervous. He says he has some important news to share that is important for the clan. Leafpool and Jaypaw accept to listen to it because they are medicine cats. When they hear what he says they don’t know what to do. But then Sol travels to ShadowClan. That could be his worst mistake or the worst mistake that ThunderClan let them go. ShadowClan might never be a clan or the same ever again.

Review
This was definitely not one of the strongest books that was written. If I had to be honest then I would actually say that I did not enjoy the book. It did not really go anywhere. I cried a couple of time because there were some sad parts but overall this book was actually not what I expected from Erin Hunter. All of the other books that I have read are ok, but this one was boring. It was the introduction of Sol and I believe that he plays and important part in the some of the other books but this book could have been made to be a little more interesting in my opinion. So, you still need to read it to understand the story or the series, but I personally thought this book was a little bit boring.

Outcast (Warriors: Power of Three Series #3) by Erin Hunter

Summary

“There will be three,
Kin of you kin….
Who hold the
Power of the stars
In their paws.”

A secret prophecy shapes the lives of Firestar’s grandchildren, but only one of the three knows about it. Jaypaw is captivated by the power it promises, and he believes the key to that power may lie buried in the distant past — with the ancient cats who once walked these woods and now prowl through his dreams. His search for answers leads him toward the mountains — the home of the Tribe of Rushing Water. Lionpaw and Hollypaw feel drawn to the mountains too, for different reasons.

But the mountains hide secrets as well as answers, and if the three cats find a way to get there, they may discover more than they ever expected.

Review

This was an exceptional book in the Warrior Series term. There was a mini journey, there was a big battle, there were unexpected secrets that were reveled. I learned things about the Tribe that I did not know before. And if you do not know who the tribe is you have to read the series where they have the great journey. I think that this book was pretty good, one of the best.I would not read it again, but there is only one reason why. It is because this series is so big. If it was smaller like the Alex Rider series, I would read it again. Hope you all like the book.

Dark River (Warriors: Power of Three Series #2) by Erin Hunter

Summary

* From HarperCollins.com

The three children of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, grandchildren of the great leader Firestar, have thrived in their apprenticeships: Lionpaw’s strength and energy serve him well as a warrior in training, Hollypaw hones her understanding of the warrior code, and Jaypaw explores his mysterious powers and connection to StarClan as the medicine cat apprentice.

With more experience comes both power and danger: Lionpaw makes a friendship—and a discovery—that must be kept hidden; Jaypaw learns a secret that could benefit ThunderClan by damaging others; and Hollypaw knows something that could avert a battle, if she could convince the rest of her Clan.

The three are torn apart as each discovers darkness: in themselves, in the Clans, and in the past. And, as conflict begins over what it means to be a warrior, rising tensions threaten to overflow, washing away the peace that has existed for many moons.

Review

This was an interesting book. It had a lot of suspense and it seemed like this book was based around Jaypaw and Lionpaw. There is just one more thing I will tell you about the book.

There is a possible deadly friendship that could ruin 1 or 2 clans.

But I cannot tell you anymore because otherwise I would give the whole book away.

The Sight (Warriors: Power of Three Series #1) by Erin Hunter

Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw spring from a strong legacy: children of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, two of the noblest ThunderClan warriors, and grandchildren of the great leader Firestar himself. All three young cats possess unusual power and talent and seem certain to provide strength to the Clan for the next generation.

But there are dark secrets around the three, and a mysterious prophecy hints at trouble to come. An undercurrent of rage is rising against those who are not Clanborn, and the warrior code is in danger of being washed away by a river of blood. All the young cats’ strength will be needed if the Clans are to survive.

. . . who hold the power of the stars in their paws. ”

Review

This book starts a whole new chapter in the Warrior Saga. This starts something new with new main characters, different perspectives and all that. In the first series where it was the very first book it was from the perspective of FireStar, although in the first few books is was FireHeart or Rusty. In the first book of the second series, The New Prophecy, it was from the point of view of BrambleClaw. But now in the third series, The Power of Three, it is from the point of view of HollyPaw, JayPaw, LionPaw. And with the new prophecy to FireStar, “There will be three, kin of your kin who hold the power of the stars in their paws.” who knows what is going to happen next.

This has to be one of the best books for one particular reason. The mingling of the clans. In this books there is a time when the clans hate each other, then they make up and it almost seems as if the 4 clans might merge into 1 clan. This is probably one of the most suspenseful books because of this. I really hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
