An Explanation

So WordPress.com offers little blogging workshops to help people get their blog back up and running and help bloggers learn about blogging, or to seriously advance ones writing and ones blog. So I have decided to try to join in, though it will be difficult with my school work.

But I’m going to try.

Now and then, or more frequently (as they send posts out every day (it only lasts for about 2 weeks or so)), I will be posting blog posts for the Blogging 201 assignments. But I won’t post the ones that are more just for me learning how to do things. I’ll post the good ones that will pertain to my readers.

So don’t worry and don’t think that this blog is suddenly taking a weird turn. It’s just to help this blog grow and get a nice solid and concrete direction down once and for all!

And yes, I am working on some more book and movie reviews! ^.^

Until then, happy reading!!!!

My Apologies

I’d like to apologize for the lack of posts for the past few weeks. University has begun and just before then I was preparing for university with lots and lots of shopping, per the American University experience.

And you’d think that during school, for your first week at least, you’d get light homework. But noooooo. I’ve already been working until sleep is a distant thing of the past.

My English course, and some of the readings for my other courses, look quite good this year so I’ll definitely be posting some of the readings I’m doing with reviews and possibly notes, if we need to take them!

In addition to that, in the next few days my copy of Archangels’ Enigma by Nalini Singh will be coming in and so I will be devouring that and then getting a review up ASAP with that one. So you can expect a review in the next week or so. M.O.M will be helping me run the blog until I get fully situated into my university life with homework and stuff with fun blog posts and such.

Please bear with me and hopefully MyLibraryCardWoreOut will be back up and running in the next few weeks or so!

Thank you!

A Few Changes

Over the next few days you may notice a few changes to the blog, such as theme changes, page additions, tag changes, as well as other bits and pieces.

I have a nice chunk of time to spare at the moment and it’s time that MyLibraryCardWoreOut got a little TLC and was revamped a little bit as I don’t feel that it truly reflected who I am as a blogger and a book lover.

So please do bear with me and hopefully the true MLCWO blog will be completed and up and running in a week, tops.

Thank you for understanding!

Interesting New Blogs I Found

So I was recently looking around the internet at a few book blogs, from anything from YA to adult romance and more. Now, I’m quite picky with what I like to read. It needs to have a pleasing format, good font, and decent writing. As well as obviously good books.

And I stumbled across two new ones yesterday.

The first one is The Y.A. Bookworm Blogger which is run by a 18 year old blogger who blogs about books as well as doing video blogs. It’s really a nice blog and I will definitely be following her.

The second was Aestas Book Blog which is an adult romance book blog. This is perfect for finding some decent books to read that are of adult romance quality because just turning up at Barnes and Nobel isn’t really doing it for me anymore.

So definitely check these two out! The first one is YA oriented while the second is definitely for adults and a more mature audience.

You can find all the blogs I follow (currently only 4) on this page on my blog.

Enjoy and happy reading!

An Interesting Blog

So I recently came across this really interesting blog that posts poems, things about literature, and pictures of books and such.

It’s really beautiful and I love how it’s set up, just scrolling through the different posts. I definitely think that you should check it out.

The name of the blog is Love For Books!

So go and show some love over there and check it out ^^
