BookRiot came up with a list of 50 of the Best Heroines From Middle Grade Books.
A lot of the books I don’t know but quite a few I do know of and definitely can relate to.
Which ones do you agree with definitely? And any that aren’t on the list that should be?
Interesting list, but I didn’t know some of the younger reader books. I like the fact that Hermoine Grainger is in it – wouldn’t have thought of her. Obviously Ramona, and Beezus. Jo March is missing…..and she should be as she’s a given. Also, where is Harriet from “Harriet the Spy”? And what about Violet Baudelaire from a Series of Unfortunate Events? Surely with all she had to contend with she qualifies as a heroine?
