Going on with my last post, there are many signs that the books are still alive.

I definitely have to agree with this list.
I cant say about others but I personally can’t go through the week without reading some book (not study related though 🙂 , I just end up sleeping). But sadly, because I travel a lot and there are also a lot of books that I want to read, I end up trying to find an electronic copy of them so as to read on the road. Though, I do keep a book with me at all times but unfortunately, a single person can only carry so much.
Though, at home my bookshelves are jam packed with books to such an extent that my parents sometimes actually flip out at me for spending too much on books or electronic gadgets.
I completely agree. I have online books as they are more convenient for traveling and cheaper as well. But if it’s a book I know I’ll love or that I had loved, I would buy a hard copy for the future. Hard copies are my preference but I won’t shoot down online copies as they are definitely more convenient.
Well its true that hard copies of books that I like are really good but then comes the problem that there are just too many books that I like!! Because of this I always end up in used book store when ever I get some free time as sometimes you may even end up with a classic masterpiece and surprising yourself.
Frankly speaking I just like this feeling. Because of this I ended up having quite a large collection of books. Some of my friends even suggested that I open up a local library of sorts.
Used books are perfect because they are gentle to read and gentle to my bank account as well. My collection isn’t that big as I borrow a lot from my library but I can see it getting there.
Ha ha, thats true. Sometimes, I also borrow a few books from my former college’s library when I happen to go there, mostly because I have a good relation with some of my professors there. Its quite a shame that the place that I live doesn’t have a public library.
Public libraries are great and I also read university library books but I don’t borrow them yet. I just keep buying books. Lots of books.
Keep it up but also keep it in check lest you just forget about everything else.
Agreed! These are serious book lover problems! xD
