The Guardian newspaper in the UK has launched today a children’s book website (here) and it is a very interesting place. All you YA readers out there, don’t be put off by the fact it is called “children’s”. In quaint English fashion everyone not an adult falls into this category and they have a designated teen area. There are articles, book suggestions, interviews and videos. If you are stuck for what to read next you can check out their lists of suggestions or write to the Book Doctor. You can read reviews of books by people your age, and you can become a member and post your own reviews. How cool is that? There are quizzes. You can find out how much you know about Harry Potter. Think you are an expert? Looks like a great website, so go check it out!
Thanks School Library Journal for the heads up!!
