Just a little update about it. I unfortunately did not make it past the long list category. But just because I did not make it does not mean that my book blog is not as good as others. I noticed that a lot of the other blogs have been around for years and I have only been around for 1 year. But it was fun to try to see how I would do. I am definitely going to do it again.
It is not really a disappointment. It just says to me that I have more time to practice with my blog, write better reviews, and get more views. Then next year I just might make it a little further or be awarded. But this will not put me off because I did not win just this once. I will keep trying. You all know the saying…..
“Try, try, and try again. And if you don’t succeed. Try again!”

I think you’ve definitely got the right idea – keep fiddling with your blog over the coming year and making whatever improvements you like – it can only get better from here. Besides, though the awards ARE fun, BBAW has so much to offer in addition to them – it’s a fabulous and fun week to be a book blogger!
