Summary

To save his mother, Merlin must master the Seven Songs of Wisdom that was passed down from his grandfather, Tuatha, who was a legendary wizard. Only then can he go down the well to the otherworld and get a healing potion from Dagda, who is god, himself. That is the only thing that will save Merlins mother. But before he can get to the well he has to defeat the ogor Balor that one look at his eye will kill you. He also has to learn how not to see with his eyes, but with his heart.

Review

This book was nothing like the first one which was The Lost Years Of Merlin. This book is packed with action, adventure, romance, and hatred. There is one scene when there is a lot of blood mentioned though. This book is amazingly good and you want to read more. For one whole day I read it because I was nearing the end and that is when all your question are answered. There are still many other books after this on,  but right now after reading three, I think this one was my favorite. This book is for the ages of 10-12 and the grades 4-6.
