Why Book Translators Do What They Do

Have you ever wondered why book translators do what they do? Well BookRiot interviewed a few of them and now your questions will be answered.

Some very interesting reasons and it just shows that not everyone goes in with the midset of what they will do in life.

As a person who loves languages I definitely respect this and would love to informally translate a book one day. Just for the heck of it.

If you could translate one book, what book would it be, into what language (even if you can’t speak it) and why?

Mystery Anyone?

Have you been recently looking for a good mystery book? Something that maybe is slightly different than the run-of-the-mill mystery book?

Well look no further as BookRiot came up with a great list of mystery books and some of them look fantastic! I may have to save them for the summer because I don’t have time to read them at the moment but I definitely want to check some of these out.

How about you? Do any of these books catch your eye or any other suggestions?

“Romantic Heroes I Wouldn’t Date”

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

I hope you all will be having a fantastic day. I know that I’ll be working on homework, nomming chocolate alone and wishing for my Prince Charming.

But I know that my Prince Charming will not be any of those men from Book Riot’s small list of Romantic Heroes I Wouldn’t Date.

Any of those on the list you agree with? Disagree with?

I do wish Romeo, oh Romeo, wasn’t on that list…but I sadly do agree…

Anyway, have a fantastic Valentines Day and what do y’all plan on doing?
