Firestar’s Quest (Warriors Super Edition) by Erin Hunter

Summary

There is peace at last between the warrior Clans, and all four are thriving. Then Firestar, the legendary leader of ThunderClan, discovers a shocking secret: StarClan, the warrior ancestors who guide his paw steps, have lied to him and the lie is one that he might not forgive them for.

Firestar must embark on a perilous quest to discover a long-forgotten truth. Whatever he finds at the end of his journey, he’s sure of one thing: Nothing will ever be the same again.

Review

I know this might be a little bit late for some of my readers but you should read this book before you start The New Prophecy. It seems to continue on from the last book in the first series. This book was really good. I liked how Erin Hunter took the readers away from where they knew. You went on a journey and you felt like StarClan was taking you along. Like you were walking in their paw steps. This book was entrancing. I did not want to stop reading it and if you read it, you too will find out why. Enjoy.

Earth Hour

On Saturday, March 27, at 8:30 pm local time, Earth Hour will be observed around the world from New Zealand to Hawaii. What you do for Earth Hour is you turn all the lights and electrons off in your house for 60 minutes (1 hour). In this time you save energy to help your planet.

Last year 80 million Americans and 318 U.S. cites officially voted for action with their light switch, joining iconic landmarks from around the world that went dark for Earth Hour, including:

The Empire State Building

The Brooklyn Bridge

Las Vegas Strip

United Nations Headquarters

Golden Gate Bridge

Seattle’s Space Needle

Great Pyramids of Giza

Acropolis and Parthenon in Athens

Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro

St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City

Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in London

Elysee Palace and Eiffel Tower in Paris

Sydney’s Opera House

Even though you personally will not be on this list for next year, you can help. Every single person counts, and every single person will change this world one way or another. And it all starts with this. I hope that you will all participate.

Tell me whether you are going to do it, or have done it in the past, or did it this year (once it is over.)  (Leave your comment as a comment.)

Changing the world, one light switch (in off position) at a time.

Review

This book was really intense and there was betrayal, and death. A cat gets pierced in the throat in the end, some one very mean and I was pretty glad that he died. No offense to him. Also Firestar was put in a life threatening condition. I nearly died then because I was so afraid. I cried a lot, but I do that in every book so. I hope that you will like the book too. I know that I am not saying a lot but not a lot happens. The summary just sums it all up. Their next decision will determine the destiny of all of the clans, not just their own. Hope that you enjoy the book.

Johnny English

“Fun, fun, fun. A hilarious comedy.”
-Jim Ferguson, ABC-TV

Summary

“He knows no fear. He knows no danger. He knows….nothing.” When the Crown and Jewels are stolen from Her Majesty, there is only one person who will do the job. Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson.) He is the only Secret Agent in the country left (literally!) for the job. He thinks it is a ominous business man (John Malkovich) or a beautiful woman (Natalie Imbruglia) because she has an interest in what he is doing. Can this clueless, hapless, agent save his country with his side-kick/helper (who is smarter than him)? And doing it without denting his new super-cool Astin Martin spy car?????
